Spring Pulse Check: 29 Out of 30 — A Video That Made Everyone Laugh
I ran the same call-and-response exercise I do on Day 1 of every year. Simple clap pattern, find the pulse together. September: 3 out of 30 locked in. Today: 29. I played the Week 1 video on the projector and the class erupted laughing — not meanly, but because they could hear themselves. That gap between who they were in January and who they are now? That awareness of their own growth is the whole point. One kid still finds the pulse slippery. But she tries every single week. That counts too.
